pastor, Henry Ojochunu Ekukpe, has left people
hanging their heads in shock after he stabbed

Pastor Ekukpe has allegedly stabbed his wife,
Patience Ekukpe, 29, in the presence of their
6-month-old baby and escaped, leaving behind
a note with 10 questions, apparently meant for

The bus somersaulted at Omotunde village along the Ibadan-Lagos Expressway after one of its tire burst.

On Sunday, February 7, 2016, a dead
child was allegedly raised back to life at
the Mountain Miracle and Liberation
Ministries, a.k.a Liberation City.
The occurrence which was like a scene
from a Nollywood movie left everyone in
the church stunned.
The 6-month old child said to have been
ill for weeks was brought to the church
by her parents for prayers.
Unfortunately, the child gave up the
ghost as soon as they arrived the
church.
Her frantic parents eventually wept and
pushed their way through to the
podium where the man of God, Dr.
Chris Okafor, ministered to other
people, and he immediately took the
child from them and prayed fervently.
Then he dropped the child on the altar
and commanded her spirit to come back
and the child moved! The congregation
exploded in tumultuous praise as the
child continued to move and even later
drank some water!

Police Arrests Yoruba Boy For Stabbing Mum To Death.

A son has allegedly stabbed his mother to
death in her home at Abule Egba, Lagos.
Residents of 3, Bunmi Christopher Close off
Arowolo Street, Abule Egba, said they could
not save the woman because the boy locked
her in the room before the alleged dastardly
act.
Police spokesperson Dolapo Badmos, a
Superintendent of Police (SP), said the boy, a
barber whose name was given as Ibrahim, was
arrested last Friday.
Ibrahim had reportedly run away after his
mother Mrs Oluyide was confirmed dead.
It was learnt that Ibrahim, who lives in
Ikeja, was on a visit to his mother that
fateful day.

OVER SPEEDING: 17 Die In Auto Crash On Ibadan-Lagos Road

The Federal Road Safety Commission
(FRSC) on Sunday confirmed that 17 persons died in an automobile crash on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Mr Yusuf Salami, Oyo State Sector
Commander of the commission, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that 79 persons were injured in the crash.

Salami said that the accident, which
involved an articulated vehicle and a Peugeot J5 bus, occurred at Sepo area of the highway.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose
has said that the statement issued by the
Presidency on President Mohammadu
Buhari’s sudden vacation was vague,
saying; “Nigerians deserve to know the
truth about their President because the
President is an open book that every
Nigerians should be free to read.”

The governor, who said he was aware of the
high-wire plot to use the Supreme Court to
upturn his electoral victory, insisted that
nothing will stop him from speaking the truth
concerning issues in the country.

He said it was suspicious that a president, who
told Nigerians that he was embarking on official
visit to France and Britain, last Tuesday, would
suddenly commence a five-day vacation while
still in the United Kingdom.

Every day has turned a nightmarish for 15-year-

old Semisola Olona (not real names) who seems
not to get over the traumatic experience she
had when she was allegedly raped by a
commercial tricycle rider, known as Mr. Lati
Ajoje.
Olona, a senior secondary one student in a
Lagos school, said Ajoje was her mother’s
customer and she knew him before the incident.

Olona’s mother runs a canteen in Iyana Ipaja,
Lagos.

She told our correspondent recently that she
never believed Ajoje would rape her because he
was a frequent customer at her mother’s shop.

In tears, Olona, who claimed she was a virgin
before the incident, narrated how Ajoje took
advantage of her.

She said she was on her way to her mother’s
shop on January 15, 2016, when she met Ajoje
who offered to drop her off at the canteen.

“I didn’t suspect anything. I even thanked him
as I boarded his keke (tricycle). When we got to
the bus stop, he turned and faced another
route. I asked him if he wasn’t going to my
mum’s shop again. He didn’t answer me. I told
him to stop me at the bus stop but he refused.

“He then told me to be patient and said he
only wanted to go and collect something at
Water Estate. I insisted I wanted to drop off.
He didn’t listen to me, he ignored me. He got
to where he was going and he stopped at an
uncompleted building and told me to get down.
I asked him why, he said he wanted to tell me
something. I told him I didn’t like the place he
brought me and I was already feeling
uncomfortable. He just carried me forcibly and
entered the building. I was struggling. I even
had to bite him but he didn’t bulge. He carried
me into a room in the uncompleted building.

“He removed my clothes. I told him I would
rather he killed me than do anything to me.
But he said he wasn’t going to kill me but he
would still have s.ex with me. That was how he
forced himself on me and raped me,” she said.

Olona said Ajoje threatened to kill her if she
ever told anybody about the incident.

“After raping me, he used one rag to clean me
up. After he finished, he gave me N200. But I
told him I wasn’t going to take his money. I
was afraid to tell anybody because he had said
he would kill me. But eventually, I had to tell
my sister who told my mother. I have not seen
him again since then. He no longer comes to my
mother’s shop,” she said.
